Molendijk Schilt is the stock-holding specialist in electric cutting machines for reinforcing steel, for construction, the concrete industry, rebar fabrication and the steel industry. How to choose the right cutter. The cutting capacity applies to steel up to R=70 kg/mm² (about 690 N/mm²); standard B500B rebar has a tensile strength from 550 N/mm².
Up to Ø12 mm: the MSU12 on 230 V (7.4 kg) or the MSU12-A on an 18 V battery (6.5 kg).
Up to Ø16 mm, and mesh up to Ø12 mm: the MSU16 on 230 V (9.5 kg) or the battery MSU16-A. Lighter still is the 36 V MDCC-1636: 5.65 kg with battery, 2 seconds per cut and up to 250 cuts of Ø16 per charge.
Up to Ø20 mm: the MSC20 on 230 V (10 kg), the battery MSC20-A (9.1 kg) or the 36 V MDCC-2036.
From Ø22 to Ø32 mm: the TS22, TS26, TS28 and TS32 on 230 V. For prestressing steel up to Ø16 mm there is the TW19.
The battery cutters MSU12-A, MSU16-A, MSC16-A and MSC20-A are supplied without battery and charger. Spare blades and hydraulic oil are available too.
